Medaka-chan

Chamber ensemble based piece with explosive battery accompaniment.

Basic concepts of percussion arranged in a way in which challenges students in other ways such as multitasking because every melodic instrument also has a percussion part.

Ideal for an ensemble that may have a limited amount of melodic instruments and a variety of percussion non-pitched instruments.

This piece can also be used in combination with other tunes to form a well balanced concert that my display a well rounded set of rudimental and concert percussion ensemble skills.

Marimba 1 includes: Low Concert tom and Suspended Cymbals, Hi-Hat
Marimba 2 includes High Concert tom and Suspended Cymbals
Vibraphone Includes: Taiko Drum or Floor Tom, Bongos and Congas, Concert Snare Drum, Mounted Tambourine Ride and Crash Cymbal
Auxiliary Percussion: Concert Bass Drum, Tam Tam, Suspended Cymbal, China Cymbal and Wind Chimes
